About Arlington
Opened in 1996, Arlington was built to support smaller communities of learners within a large high school. Arlington’s innovative architectural design has won several national awards.

Students in grades 9 and 10 choose a "House" connected to one of the three pathways and spend half of their school day in core classes (social studies, English and science) with the same team of teachers for two years. Students in grades 11 and 12 take core classes and electives related to their BioSMART pathway.

Arlington students enjoy a long history of achievements in athletics, Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps, community service and school clubs.
