 | | | | | | Welcome - Dr. Murphy | | Dr. Murphy joined Arlington in September 2002 as Title I Coordinator.
In 2004 she worked as an Assistant Principal at Humboldt High School.
In August of 2005, she became Principal at Arlington High School. In
2007, Arlington became the "high tech" BioSMART magnet school in St.
Paul!
Before joining the St. Paul public schools, Dr. Murphy
was a Health Education Professor at Augsburg College, she also served
as administrator for the licensure/non-licensure degree program,
accreditation process, curriculum development, academic advisor and
student teacher supervisor.
Dr. Murphy has been in education
since 1985 and spent 5 years teaching overseas in Kuwait, Greece and
Dubai. She was also an adolescent health specialist in Minneapolis and
has been a local, state and national presenter on health and education
issues.
Dr. Murphy is VERY excited about the BioSMART initiative and LOVES her staff and students at AHS!
