About Us
Welcome to the most rigorous math department in the Saint Paul Public School District. Over the past several years, we assembled a dedicated staff of true experts. Our teachers are all considered highly qualified in Mathematics by the Federal Government. In addition, we have brought in math teachers that have extensive real world experience.
We have several teachers that have spent time as engineers, several who worked as computer programmers, several who have come from the fields of information technology, and one who was a medical field scientist. Our teachers bring a real world expertise that cannot be matched. We bring that expertise because we know we have the best students in the district, and they need the challenge!

At Arlington we offer a wide range of Mathematics to meet the needs of all students. With the smallest class sizes in the district, we are able to help those struggling with Mathematics, and really push those high achieving students who come to Arlington for our rigorous math curriculum. Technology
Society demands that students are comfortable with using technology. Arlington leads the district in the implementation of technology, and the Math Department leads Arlington. Our focus is to get technology into the hands of the students as much as possible. Our staff is fully trained in the most innovative teaching and learning technologies of our time.
· We have seven TI-Navigator systems which allow students to communicate with each other and their teacher through their calculators!
· Our Geometry classes use the famous Geometer’s Sketchpad Software which is the industry standard for interactive Geometry discovery
· All of our staff are skilled in the use of the Smart Board, which is an interactive, real time display tool
· Stay tuned for pictures of our technology in action!
Arlington also offers all students the opportunity to check out and use a highly advanced graphing calculator for the year. This program is unique in the district, and allows anyone to use the latest technology at school and at home!
MCA’s
