| Mr. Hallman |  | I am John Hallman and I am a second year visual arts teacher. After beginning my studies at the University of Minnesota, I received the Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1993. After graduating, I traveled the world teaching ELL, working on my paintings, and playing in rock bands. In 2006, I completed my teaching licensure through Concordia University in St. Paul. At Arlington, I teach Introduction to Visual Arts, Mixed Media and Video Production. In addition to teaching art, I teach after school in ALC, coach girl's varsity soccer, and serve on the Arlington site council.
