| Ms. Toner, Bio*Business & Marketing Pathway Lead |  | Ms. Toner comes with much experience in both teaching and business. She has worked in the medical field—psychiatry, obstetrics and gynecology, medical manufacturing; insurance, and legal. Ms. Toner has had experience in K-12 as well as college.
The expectations of students in her classes are that they attend regularly, ask questions, work to the best of their ability and turn assignments in on time. All students are accountable for themselves for as she expresses it, “This is your training ground. When you leave here, you need to know where to go to get answers and how to advocate for yourself. If you are all that you have, then you HAVE to be the BEST YOU CAN BE!”
Ms. Toner has also been the facilitator of the Academy of Finance group here at Arlington. This program is for junior and senior students who have an interest in exploring careers particularly in the area of finance. Students attend regular meetings, network with business executives, attend field trips, and apply for summer internships. A great resource and an excellent entry on a resume!
