| Bio | | I grew up in Minneapolis and went to Minneapolis Public
Schools. It was the many fabulous teachers that I had throughout my
education that turned me on to being a teacher. I went to the
University of Minnesota and graduated with a BS in Family Social
Science which is what used to be Home Economics. I then received a
Masters degree in Education with a license to teach Family and Consumer Sciences.
My
first job was at Cleveland Quality Middle School on the East side of
St. Paul. I worked there from 2001-2005. I then came here to Arlington
where I have been since the 2005-06 school year. I really enjoy working here as I love the staff and the students.
I teach a variety of different classes within the FACS Focus Area including Food Tech, Culinary Arts, Fashion Design, Housing and Design and Child Development.
