She earned her BS in Business Education at Mankato State University and a Master Degree in Teaching and Learning at St. Mary's University. Her 20 years of teaching experience in the St. Paul Public Schools includes positions as Career and Technical Education Department Chairperson at Highland Park High School, Staff Development Advisory Board Chair, ALC Under 21 Learners Administrator, and mentored many first years teachers in the district. She has taught many different bio business courses ranging from Personal Business Law, Accounting, Marketing, Career Investigation, Entrepreneurship, Personal Finance, Computer Applications, Introduction to Business, and Keyboarding. She is married and has a daughter and two sons. Ms. Sherrod's passions are music and cinema.
