This class is designed to give students the opportunity to learn various styles of music in addition to learning performance practices on the instrument of their choice.
Students playing piano and guitar learn basic music theory in an effort to create their own musical projects in the future.
Students in the MIDI Lab classes continually create new songs in different genres of music. During the semester, the genres include (but are not limited to): jazz, funk, hip hop, rap, rock, classic rock, classical, techno, country, and many other sub-genres.
