Gina Moore, Bio-Engineering and Technology, Assistant Principal
Gina Moore has been an Assistant Principal at Arlington High School for five years. Before that she was an Assistant Principal of St. Paul Correctional Programs for four years. Correctional Programs consists of Boys Totem Town, Juvenile Detention Center, Transitions for Success and, what used to be, the Truancy Center.

In addition to being the current Assistant Principal of BET (Bio-Engineering and Technology), she is also the Supervisor of Special Education, Counseling, and Arlington's Wellness Committee. Ms. Moore has a degree in Business (Finance), as well as a Masters in Education and Doctoral Work in Educational Administration. She's worked in Business (Accounting and Computer Programming) as well as Higher Education (supervising student teachers for two different Universities).

Ms. Moore traveled extensively in her youth (when she didn't mind living out of a back pack or sleeping in her clothes). She lived in Japan for two years and took some California high school students on an "around the world" educational trip (living with tribes in Africa, families in Ireland, and school teachers in New Zealand). Come up and visit her office (room 4261), you'll see the influence of her travels.

Finally, Ms. Moore lives in Minneapolis with her husband (Joe),  her son (Thomas) and her cocker spaniel (Ruby).
